Four

Number four has brought a lot of remarkable events and luck to my simple world. Just like the month of April, as we all know, the fourth month of every year.

  • »I'm the fourth in the brood of seven. The middle child in our sibling order. I can either be an elder or a younger. Lucky number isn't it?

  • »Since grade school days, I was always fourth-to-be-called whenever my teachers, by surname and gender, check our attendance. I was next to Aldana, Apolonio, and Aviles (from Grades 2-6). I was next to Acam, Barrozo and Bautista in grade 1.

  • »High school days were the same as that of grade school's. I followed Agullana, Ando and Barde. Sure I was fourth in the class record list of my mentors until fourth year.

  • »Fourth --- this rank is the sure thing I avoided to attain. When I was in first year high, I garnered most medals being the the class first honor. Next, i settled second on second year. Then, third on junior years. I thought the pattern will go worse as I add years in my Alma Mater, so I told myself to not to finish secondary level being fourth and must regain what I rightfully own---being the class top student.

  • »I have an entry about my DOST fate. And it was on the fourth of February and the announcement was on the fourth month of 2001.

  • »Four-eyes, as some of my college friends used to tease me. But until today, I haven't separated myself yet from these eyeglasses even there existed breakthroughs on contact lenses. I was once called "Boy Labo" too.

  • »In college, I was part of a group called G4, composed of Melchor, Lalaine, Norbie, and moi. I sure miss them, especially now that Lala left (again) for Germany.

  • »I like playing cards, four suits involved in the game: Diamond, Club, Heart, and Spade.
  • »I love nature. Four elements of nature are: earth, air, water and fire.

  • »Diamond, D, Delta and April. They all stand for the number 4.

  • »So on and so fourth, este forth.
