Undeniably, my illness has been making me worry. The influenza I have for 6days now is truly an obstacle. It's hard to have fever + colds + coughing + tonsillitis + headache + nosebleed = physical disaster. Even difficult to undergo treatments because I'm taking 4 medicines after meals + a capsule-like tablet as my vitamins once-a-day. It is really a challenge to get sick.
According to my doctor, the following are the sources of my problem:
According to my doctor, the following are the sources of my problem:
- The Weather- it is not cooperative, not only for me but for everyone else. Its pattern has changed inevitably. Rains have been observed.
- Excessive cold - controlling the temperature in my workplace is prohibited because of the machines/servers that require the standard temperature. That temperature is not bearable during these wintry months.
- Stress - this major cause of any illness is known to all. If you need to rest for awhile, tell your boss right away.
- Lack of Self-discipline - if you need to wear 2 jackets in your office, don't hesitate to do so. If you have already seen symptoms that you are in need of a consultation from a doctor, why not do it?
- Take this-and-that medicines as prescribed. (okay po! taga-mercury yata ang ate ko.)
- Drink more liquids - water and juice. (pwede po ba ung chilled and cold? mas masarap yun e.)
- Eat plenty of fruits. (patay! di nyo ba alam doc na napapabanyo ako sa mga fruits?)
- Refrain eating spicy, salty, and sweet foods. (sabi ko na nga ba e. . . pagbabawalan na naman ako.)
- Take a day leave to get rest. (di ko po kayo sinunod, naka-3day-leave nga ako e.)
Me: Alin po dito 'yung para sa sakit ng ulo.
Doc: Ah, teka. Wala akong na-prescribe. (then, may inihabol siyang isinulat sa reseta) Talagang magkakasama 'yang lagnat, ubo at sakit ng ulo.
Me: Aah. (sabay hawak sa ulo). Masakit po e, kahit hindi ako umuubo.
D: Kailan ka huling nagpalit ng salamin mo?
M: Last Christmas po.
D: Bagay sa'yo.
. . .
I'm still in recovery stage, sana tuloy-tuloy na ito. Thanks to my sister who provides me medicines (for free). ;)
